Matt Demblowski is a writer and producer who cut his teeth in the New York comedy scene in the early 2000s, writing and performing on teams at the UCB and PIT theatres. From there, Matt attended UCLA School of Law, a decision that made his mother very happy. In 2007, he returned to New York where he worked as a Development Executive for Stick Figure Productions, conceiving, developing and producing such series as National Geographic's "Repossessed!" and "American Gypsies," among other TV series and documentary films.

Matt's screenwriting has received honors in a number of national screenwriting competitions including the Austin Film Festival, Final Draft Big Break and the Creative World Awards. He recently worked on Season 12 of the hit NBC series, "Chicago Fire." His material features high-concept hooks, complex family dynamics and eccentric protagonists bent on a chance at redemption.
